Briefing Sheet: Asylum Seekers & Refugees

There are currently over 2,000 asylum seekers in Newcastle. We believe that tenants and residents groups can play an important role in providing a warm welcome to refugees and asylum seekers coming into their community. One of the main issues facing communities is a lack of accurate information on the subject. We have therefore produced a briefing sheet that looks at some of the most commonly asked questions on the issue.
